Here are some links to other skiing-related websites along with a short description of the site.

Harb Ski Systems
Harb Ski Systems has a unique way for beginners to learn how to parallel ski quickly. This is the only site you need to visit for improving your skiing skills.

SKINET
Beginning September 2006 SKI magazine joined up with Skiing Magazine and Warren Miller Entertainment to create one awesome website. SKINET.com is the ultimate one-stop resource for every slope-loving person.

Al's Ski Barn
Al's Ski Barn is a website where people can buy any type of skiing/snowboarding equipment at lower prices. Although they are cheaper than most ski shops, I would suggest visiting a ski shop before buying online (especially if you're thinking about buying boots online. Try them on at a ski shop first to find the correct size for you). They also have other skiing-related items.

Atomic Outlet
Get great deals on a few brands of skis, bindings, boots, jackets, snowpants, bags, etc. Discounts get really deep on models that are a couple years old or more. People can also shop according to skill level or terrain.

Swix
Swix has a World Cup racing chart for mixing waxes. If you're new to waxing, the chart is a great way to begin experimenting with different waxes in varying weather conditions. You can ignore the more complicated parts of the chart and use only the temperature guide.

Ski Sharp Products
Whether you're just learning how to tune your own skis or if you’re an expert, check out this site. The Ski Sharp Products Company has unique tuning tools. The tools are supposed to sharpen your edges without wearing them away quickly (traditional sharpeners can wear down edges fast). If you're going to be replacing your sharpener soon, or if you currently do not own a sharpener, then I highly recommend checking out this site before purchasing any sharpener. I have not tried any of the products on this site yet, so if you buy any please let me know how they work out for you.

NASTAR
Ready for racing? Whether you've never raced before, or if you're an expert looking for a course to practice on, NASTAR is for everyone. NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race) was developed by Ski magazine in 1968, and is the largest recreational ski/snowboard race program in the world. Courses are set up at many ski areas; you can find the closest one to you on this site.
